This was fabulous! Excellent Scallops and perfectly grilled Halibut. Just a lovely dining experience. Creme Brulee was tasty too. I just happened to stumble upon this restaurant and was about to order take away but I was welcomed as a solo diner and enjoyed an incredible meal!

Great place in the beautiful village of Richmond. Fish was fresh and tasty and the chips were great! Large size portions for reasonable price. The scallops were also perfectly cooked!

Very good fish & chips restaurant in Richmond-upon-Thames, not far from the river and Richmond Gardens. You can get meat dishes, too - but the focus is clear. Different types of fish are available and freshly prepared right in front of the customer. You can either eat inside (restaurant-like atmosphere), or take your meal out to eat e.g. on the promenade - at a lower price (see photo). The prices for fish vary quite a bit, from cod & chips (UKP 9.95 takeaway, 12.95 restaurant) to a whole Dover Sole on the bone (28.95 inside). Crunchy cod, just the chips could have been more crunchy. Polite and fast service.

Pier 1 is local to my office and I've been a couple of times now for lunch, and the food is always really high quality. The portions are huge so you do get value for your money, and in particular their tempura options are really good. Service is good but nothing to shout about, but I'm definitely shouting about the food. Worth a stop in while in Richmond.
